At Tuffkid Nursery our highly trained specialist staff understand the needs of young children with physical and learning difficulties.
We are here to work with you towards creating a stable and positive foundation for your child within the Kisharon framework of support from toddler through to adulthood. Our approach to therapy is that the therapist works in the main room using mainstream children as role models.
One third of the children at Tuffkid have moderate to profound learning and/or physical disabilities. Within a warm and loving Jewish environment each child is encouraged to develop and believe in his or her potential. We encourage children to be curious learners and take risks within a safe environment during their learning journey. We have within our staff team a trained physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist and dance movement therapist as well as specialist equipment and sensory rooms.
Your child’s weekly therapeutic programme will be designed according to their statement or appropriate arrangements can be made.
